Varsity Stripes Sweater PDF Pattern

$8.00

Varsity Stripes is inspired by cozy fall evenings when you want to throw on your favorite sweatshirt. You might wear it to a football game or sitting in your backyard with friends. The color options are endless for Varsity Stripes… this design allows you the freedom to choose your own colors in a palette you love.

Varsity Stripes is a collaboration with Plied Yarns for Rhinebeck 2023. I love using the marled colors of Plied Yarns to create my own unique pieces.

This is a yoked sweater, worked from the top down. It is knit to fit like your favorite oversized sweatshirt.

This yoked sweater is knit from the top down in the round. The sweater begins by working the neckband. Then short rows are worked to add height to the back neck. Once you have finished the yoke section, you will separate the sleeves and body. Front and back are joined at the underarms to knit in the round. The body is worked in the round, finishing with a bottom hem trim rib. The sleeve stitches that are on hold are then worked in the round to the cuff.
