Wander About PDF Pattern

Asymmetric cowls are my favorites to wear, and when I saw this yarn from Woolfolk I knew I would make something special with it! Aaron and I recently went on a trip to Iceland, and I fell in love with the amazing landscape and scenery. This cowl is inspired by the winding roads and the black sand beaches we drove along on our magical trip.

This cowl is knit with the colorwork skill of intarsia. If you have not yet tried intarsia, this is a great pattern to learn with.

This cowl is for those who really love the look of an asymmetric style shawl and don’t enjoy fussing with styling it. Just pop it on, scrunch it up a bit and off you go!

Cowl is worked flat. After the correct length is reached, an i-cord bind of is worked and the ends are woven in. The piece is then blocked. Once the cowl is dry, see figure on how to seam the cast on edge to the top left side using mattress stitch. Optional tassels can be added at the very end.
