Zig Zag Cowl PDF Pattern

$6.00

Zig Zag was inspired by the winding roads of Kentucky that I grew up driving on. Sometimes I just miss those, driving fast, then slow, around hills and valleys.

Zig Zag is a simple asymmetric cowl knit with two colors. Using intarsia to create a little bit of movement and play, this cowl is a fun and quick project. It would be a great pattern to learn how to knit intarsia if you have not tried it yet, as you are only working with two colors.

This cowl is for those who really love the look of an asymmetric style shawl and don’t enjoy fussing with styling it. Just pop it on, scrunch it up a bit and off you go!

Cowl is worked flat. After the correct length is reached, an i-cord bind off is worked, and the ends are woven in. The piece is then blocked. Once the cowl is dry, see figure on how to seam the cast on edge to the top left side using mattress stitch. Optional tassels can be added at the very end.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a listing for a PDF download of a knitting pattern. Buying this pattern through this website means it will not be available through your Ravelry library. If you would like to purchase this pattern on Ravelry, you can do so here.
