Homemade blankets always seem to be my go-to knitted gift of choice (if I have enough time and planning that is!). The initial striped, baby blanket version was knit for a friend and I decided to write out the pattern, so I knit it again for my mom’s birthday. Both blankets came out super soft and very special and I hope that carries over to your own projects or gifts.
I love this blanket because you can customize it in so many ways – see notes below – and for the simple fact that it’s an easy, mindless project with a fabulously soft yarn!
I hope you enjoy making this blanket for yourself and those you love.
This blanket is knit flat in one piece and is written out with three basic sizes in mind.
