This set is inspired by my Merrymaker Pullover for Making Stories Issue 7 Joy. Merrymaker is such a happy knit that we thought those of you who aren’t sweater knitters might like a hat or cowl, or a set of both, to knit instead! I hope this knit set brings you lots of joy and inspires lots of happy memories.
This cowl is knit in the round from the top edge to the bottom. It utilizes stranded colorwork. A slight funnel shape is formed as the bottom of the cowl is worked on one size larger needle.
This hat is knit in the round from the brim to the top.
