Joanie, by Jill Thompson Beach, is a simple, lightweight, slightly-cropped pullover with a little intarsia excitement on the sleeves. A nod to the ubiquitous chevron in 70s prints, Joanie strips it down to a modern, minimalist accent for uncomplicated wear. Ideal to pair with your favorite jeans or over a dress, this breezy sweater is the autumn wardrobe staple.
Made in Weld, this pullover is worked at a lofty gauge from the top down with raglan shoulder shaping. The lower body is worked in the round, while the sleeves are worked flat to accommodate the intarsia motif and seamed in finishing. The collar is picked up and worked in the round and a final block is recommended to allow the colorwork and fabric to bloom.
