Beach House Knits

Jill Thompson Beach is a new knitwear designer focusing on cozy, approachable, enjoyable, and carefully considered designs. She lives in Salem, Massachusetts, with her husband, Aaron, and two dogs, Evie and Mae. Her designs remind you to take pleasure in the love and joy of making.

Why Beach House Knits? Well that’s my last name and I live in a quaint New England home just a block from the beach.

I am committed to making my collective community a better place and giving back. 10% of all pattern purchases placed on Ravelry and my website (anywhere I personally sell my patterns) goes toward helping abused women children, men, and nonbinary people live free from violence and fear through a charity called HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change). Each design is carefully considered and hope that you will find that every pattern combines my love of cozy, while still being approachable and enjoyable for those that knit them. I truly try to make every individual piece with love and joy.

Giving Back

I believe in giving back to the community and making a positive impact while also pursing my passion and creating designs you want to make. I am committed to supporting HAWC, a charity dedicated to helping abused women, children. We all deserve the chance to make something we love.

Why Beach House Knits?

The name “Beach House Knits” is deeply personal and meaningful. It’s a combination of Jill’s last name and her charming New England home, located just a block away from the serene beach. This name perfectly encapsulates the warmth, comfort, and relaxed elegance that her designs offer, much like a cozy beach house.
